Very ConfortableWe stayed at the hotel in 2005 with my husband and my son, then two years. Really treated us very well, the staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The food is very good quality. It also has a beautiful swimming pool with an area specially designed for children. The only thing that is negative is its location as it is located away from downtown Havana, which means that you need to add extra spending on transport, although the same hotel provides transfers to and from the center during the day. Deserved holiday!! For several years I have wanted to visit Cuba and the opportunity just came this year when my son Andres graduated from university. We stayed at hotel Occidental Miramar where we enjoyed the comfort, the human quality shown by chambermaids and the staff from the hotel’s buffet restaurant, also an excellent food. We enjoyed the nightly shows as we listened with pleasure and admiration to the Caribbean rhythms. It should be noted that rooms are spacious, with a friendly atmosphere, clean and with beautiful views to the landscape and we enjoyed the swimming pools, places of relaxation and free areas as well. Sincerely I am grateful for this treatment and so I highly recommend to those who wish to spend a good time in a warm and friendly ambiance to stay at this hotel. 6/7 travelers found this review helpful. The Occidental Miramar Hotel is one of the best of Havana I was staying at the Occidental Miramar Hotel with my family in Spain and Cuba last week for 5 nights. The hotel is wonderful, the pool is fabulous and very clean and very spacious rooms. I must say that the waitresses of the rooms were very professional and friendly throughout our stay. In general I think the best hotel staff is very warm and friendly, always aware of the clients and their needs. In its Buffet Restaurant enjoy a wide variety of foods with excellent quality as well as its gourmet restaurant El Patio which I think is one of the best in Havana. Enjoy various musical groups that inspired evening in the Lobby Bar, which incidentally is very nice and ample space to dance with the best Cuban music. My family and I commend it to our friends and all people have the chance to read this review visit the hotel miramar west of the 5th. Avenida de Miramar 18/24 travelers found this review helpful.
